Have you looked at the Gwynedd FHS website - it will let you know what is
available - society mainly concentrates on recording gravestone inscriptions
which include Llandygai and Llanllechid in the Bangor and Bethesda area.
Joining the society - very cheap - is also a good idea - you might discover
someone researching the same family. Perhaps you could also try the
Caernarfonshire list. Gwynedd list is quite quiet
Best of luck

Subject: [GWYNEDD] BANGOR & BETHESDA PARISH/CHAPEL RECORDS
Dear Listers
Three quarters of my family tree originate in the Bangor & Bethesda areas.
I've been able to track them back through census to 1841 and BMDs to 1837
but am now stuck. Can anyone advise me as to which Parish records I
should
order from the Gwynedd FHS for these particular areas? Are there other
sources eg chapel records available on line or elsewhere in print for
sale?
Unfortunately have no Welsh language skill and not familiar with area
names
etc.
Thanks in advance
Heather
