Hi Alwyn
I have used the UK BMD site and have seen the images they have added to the
results. I find these images (alphabetical lists) are not very helpful most
of the time. Are these the local register office entries or the secondary
ones held by the GRO? I would like to take part in the survey but not being
a resident of UK I haven't seen what the entries look like.
Regards
Lorna

Subject: [GWYNEDD] UKBMD certificates online survey
I have been asked to pass this on to the lists by Ian Hartas
UK-BMD, (of which the North Wales BMD site is a member) has
been asked to seek the opinions of its users.
There's a survey linked from the home page which I hope you
will take the time to answer.

If you could see birth, marriage and deaths certificates
on-line, would you prefer to see the original register
entries held by the local register offices, or the secondary
copy held by the GRO?
It also asks about volunteering to copy the certificates held
in local offices.
All the best
Alwyn
