I am new to the list and would like to have some help with this family.
Have a William Hall who is listed as a butcher on his daughter Catherine's,
marriage certificate in 1838. Other names on the marriage certificate are
(another) Catherine
Hall and Elizabeth Hall.
Daughter Catherine was b. in Denio, Caernarvon, Wales between 1818 and 1821.
Census go back and forth on her age. Married Charles Walker b. Feb. 14, 1814
in
Lichfield, Stafford, Eng. Jan. 11, 1838. Catherine is buried in Abererch
Church
yard, Wales and died Feb. 8, 1899.
Looking for a exact birthdate for Catherine and information about father
William.
Catherine was living in England by the 1838 date and she and her husband are
back in Abererch, Wales by 1871 and she and Charles built Westfield and later
Eastfield. Catherine and Charles were living in the Eastfield house in 1881
Census
and were lving in the Westfield house in 1891 Census. Understand that
Eastfield house
is still standing and is a very large white house. Found the information
below and it
gives the exact location of the houses.
