HI Donna
I am from Canada but would like to note that the bank converted the money into pounds
for me when I send money orders overseas. Another place in Canada is the post office....
Regards, Lynda

Hi
I have sent a request for some genealogy related
records from the gwynedd archives in Wales. I
filled out the required form and mailed it off
with an international money order for a little
over 24 dollars to cover the cost of £12 pounds
sterling as required. The money order was
returned as the requirement is that is has to be
in pounds sterling. I have called numerous places
in our area and no one has the capabilities to
send a money order in pounds sterling. Has
anyone on this list run into this problem of
ordering records from the US and if so, how did
you solve it?
Donna
