Dear All,
Apologies for the cross-posting, but this is a 'cri-de-coeur'.
I'm not looking for SKS, I'm seeking a VvKS.
My problem (well, one of them) is that I need lookups, 1901-1920, by
SKS/VvKS (Very, very Kind Soul) who has access to Hampshire Records
Office (or similar).
I'm researching the family of Albert & Louisa Jane OSBORNE, of Stewart
Rd, Bournemouth, HAM in 1901 census. I would like to know Albert's
domiciles 1901-1918, via Electoral Registers/Trade Directories and it's
not easy from here, "oop North" in York. As Albert was a postman/letter
carrier, I'm worried that he may have moved frequently.
Just to make matters worse, I would dearly like a copy of the,
largest-scale possible, map of Moordown/Winton, HAM, OS Series 2. Reason
is, I wish to pinpoint the (un-numbered) birthplace of Albert's son in
1890.
It goes without saying that I will happily meet the reimbursement of all
expenses incurred. If anyone is willing to undertake this 'mission', any
time in January will be fine by me.
Don't all shout at once <G>,
Happy Christmas & God bless us, every one.
Trevor (York)
