Hello Geraint,
If you look closely at the dates you will see that I am referring to before
most readers were born. I do assure you that there was a Barmouth Male voice
choir in the '30s

Hello everyone,
I have just joined this group. My name is Gordon and I live in Birmingham
in
a retirement home at Kings Norton.
This is a try-out to see if I have understood the instructions properly.

Hello everyone,
I have been a visitor to Barmouth since 1926 and was last there in 2013.
so I have a fairly long association with the area.
I have a photo taken in 1926 of my parents and me on the steps of a house
named 'Kenilworth' in Marine Road, I think,
I remember that in the late '30s we used to listen to the Barmouth Male
Voice Choir. I have a photograph of them - 29 in all
The conductor was, I believe, the organist of the big church which
dominated the town, and they had a lady accompanist.
I wondered if anyone could remember their names, or if I could find out
who they were.
BTW My father who also used to come to Barmouth every year remembered the
"Dora" before WW1 which used to deliver goods and passengers from
Liverpool twice a week until she was scuttled by the German navy.
