The mention of wartime munitions factories in the preview of the next issue
of Gwynedd Roots reminded me of this message that I posted in several
mailing lists but not in the Gwynedd list. It might be useful to people in
identifying a place where an ancestor worked or what they did there. It is
from English Heritage but covers the whole UK.
English Heritage have made this excellent book available for free download.
It has a lot of information on the various types of manufacturing and a
comprehensive gazetteer at the back of the book.
