Thanks for that Glenys, wonderful stuff. (I've discovered more in a week on
the Gwynedd site than 10 years on the Anglesey site.)
Can I please check a possible typo with you - the date for Owen's baptism.

Hi Cyril
I have trawled the images on FMP and found the following:-
Children of Hugh and Mary Williams:-
John; Baptised 8th January 1814; abode Holyhead; father' occupation Labourer.
Richard; 12th November 1815; Mynydd go du; Labourer.
William; 26th September 1818; Mynydd y go du; Farmer.
Elizabeth; 19th September 1824; Mynydd go du; Farmer.
Hugh; 31st January 1830; Mynydd gof du; Farmer.
Thomas; 28th October 1832; Mynydd gof du; Labourer.
Owen; 2n February 1835; Go du; Farmer.
Of the above, the first did not name Mynydd go du. However there was only one
John born to any Hugh and Mary at that time! There were at least three
Williams families in the Parish of Holyhead, where the parents were Hugh and
Mary, all producing children in the same period. The father's occupations were
Farmer (your family), Tailor and Mariner.
Hope this fills in a few missing bricks!
Glenys (Travis)
