Ancestry.com can be a good place to get original census images - I don't know Bangor
as well as some on the list, but Upper Bangor is the part of Bangor up the hill from the
station. I would imagine you would find him on the 1891 census and get an age from that.

I?ve just joined this list after spending many years looking for relatives
in Anglesey. This one, however, escaped to Bangor.
Richard Williams, age unknown, unmarried, died intestate, on 5th September,
1891. Administration of his will was granted on 26 September, 1891, to his
sister Elizabeth, of Boderw, Penrhosfeilw, Holyhead. His personal estate
was valued at ?1,115 5s 11d. His address was given as Vron Oleu, Upper
Bangor.
His parents were Hugh and
May Williams, of Gofdu Farm, Penrhosfeilw.
Would Vron (or Fron) Oleu be the name of a house or street?
I only discovered his existence in the past few days and am anxious to learn
more, as he rose from being the son of a poor tenant farmer to a person of
reasonable wealth. I would be grateful for any help.
