Dear All,
I have forwarded FreeBMD's reply to my request to change a blatant error *somewhere*
in
their indices. Whilst I fully appreciate the reason for transcribing "what's
there, not
what should be there", I personally feel that where there has been an error in a
previous
*transcription* which is patently obvious, a subsequent transcription should correct that
error. Otherwise, transcription errors will increase.
Anyway, should anyone be looking for this birth by registration district, I hope this
helps.
