Hello Keith
I can tell you that there is a sizeable cemetery called Coetmor cemetery in
Llanllechid where burials still take place these days. I don't think that
people living in Llanllechid would be buried at Glanadda. Glanadda is a
large cemetery [municipal I believe] in Bangor -on the Caernarfon Rd. As to
Gatehouse chapel - I'm not 100% sure as to locality but the chapel has been
closed and I believe it is in the Talybont locality - a little out of
Bangor, beyond Llandygai, off the old A5 road. A road leads from Talybont
to Llanllechid. I don't know whether Gatehouse had a burial area but there
is no mention of it having been transcribed by the Gwynedd FHS but there is
a transcription of Capel Bethlehem Talybont as well as the church cemetery.
The fact that one would be a Calvinistic Methodist does not mean that one
would not be buried in the churchyard either and there are fairly recent
burials in Talybont church -I know that. There are MI's for Llanllechid
church also -in two parts - but I should think that more recent CM's living
in Llanllechid/Rachub area would be buried at Coetmor. Perhaps someone more
local could help you further

Subject: Re: [GWYNEDD] Glanadda Cemetery, Bangor
Hello,
I wonder if anyone can give me the exact location of this cemetery.
Do you know if the Burial Records are available to view or access in the
Bangor area.
Would Welsh Calvinist Methodists form Llanllechid be buried in this
cemetery
or is there a nearer likely burial place to Llanllechid.
Is Gatehouse Chapel actually in Llanllechid or nearer to Bangor and would
that Chapel have a graveyard.
Many thanks.
Keith
