Glanadda is a short distance from the centre of Bangor on the left hand side
of the Caernarfon road opposite the church (SH 57300 71239).
The cemetery office at Llandegai Road (on the way into Bangor from Bethesda)
seem to have plans of all their local cemeteries and were very helpful when
I went to get help finding some war graves in Llandegai Road cemetery (SH
59210 71749).
I was photographing war graves in Glanadda a few weeks ago and have a few
pictures showing bits of the cemetery if you want to get an idea what it
looks like.
It is not the modern neatly laid out cemetery, "chaotic" might describe it
well! Typical old one where every bit of space has been used up. If you
are going to call at the office to find the location of a grave then you
find it worth printing out a large scale map from COFLEIN or GOOGLE
MAPS/EARTH so you can mark the approximate location.
There are some parking bays across the road past the church.
Coetmor (SH 61750 67709) is nearer to Llanllechid and has a church section
and a larger cemetery alongside for non-conformist burials.
Someone local can probably advise you better on Llanllechid.

Subject: Re: [GWYNEDD] Glanadda Cemetery, Bangor
Hello,
I wonder if anyone can give me the exact location of this cemetery.
Do you know if the Burial Records are available to view or
access in the Bangor area.
Would Welsh Calvinist Methodists form Llanllechid be buried
in this cemetery
or is there a nearer likely burial place to Llanllechid.
Is Gatehouse Chapel actually in Llanllechid or nearer to
Bangor and would
that Chapel have a graveyard.
Many thanks.
Keith
