Hi Lizzie,
If you put Coed Talywern in a Google search, it is between Dyffryn Ardudwy and
Llanenddwyn, postal code LL44 2ER.
On the 1841 census for Wales (
Ancestry.com), put in Owen Roberts, 35, civil parish of
Llanenddwyn. It looks like there may be 2 or 3 families living at this address. If you
don't have access to Ancestry, I can give you more details about who is living there.

Subject: [GWYNEDD] WILLIAMS/RICHARDS - Llanddwywe
I am somewhat confused about the following patronymics.
Having just received the 1842 marriage certificate for Owen WILLIAMS (of
Henborth, Llanddwywe) and Ellen EVANS (of Coedtalywern), I discover that
Owen WILLIAMS' father is Griffith RICHARDS. Ellen's father is Hugh EVANS.
The children of this marriage are variously recorded as RICHARDS or
WILLIAMS.
I'd be very grateful if someone could please explain where the WILLIAMS
surname might have arisen from? Also where might Coedtalywern be located?
Many thanks
Lizzie
