Thanks Ian,
I THINK I understand,
I don't have a marriage for John and Gaynor. But John Josiah(their eldest) was born
March 1848, so I would be looking for a marriage 1845 to 1847
I know what you mean about unusual names. Even Gaynor does not strike me as a typical
Welsh name.
I should explain, the names of the children were written in a bible found in my Nain's
house.
I don't know if they are family or not. What I'm really looking for is a record of
my Nain's birth.
Annie Eliza Jones, born 1884. Her mother was Anne Jones(1926)
Any suggestions ?
Regards Kyffin

down blind alleys, however, looking at the Gibson family, from Llanbeblig, Jane m in
Deneio in 1803 to John Goodman, Benjamin m in 1816 in Bangor, John m in 1815 in Bangor,
Josiah m in 1823 in Llanbeblig, and remarr in 1832 in Ynyschynhaearn, George m 1813 in
Llanedwen, Mary m 1814 in Llanbeblig. These are the 6 children, I believe, mentioned
[un-named] in the 1794 "census" of Caernarfon, children of John Gibson and
Eleanor (buried in Llanbeblig, he dying in 1841 aged 86, she in 1831 aged 73).> >
