I am not going to be of much help but if they are buried in Holyhead they
could be in one of three cemeteries:
Holyhead Roman Catholic Cemetery
St Seiriol Anglican Cemetery
Maeshyfryd Cemetery
The last one is the largest by far and is the one that the Town Hall charge
for a search.
Robert H Irvine is commemorated on the town 's Cenotaph, he died of wounds
on 8th November 1918 whilst serving with the 24th Battalion Royal Welsh
Fusiliers. He had enlisted at Eccleston Camp, Lancashire but was residing at
Bagillt. His last address in Holyhead was 54 King's Road.

Subject: [GWYNEDD] Irvine from Holyhead
Hello All
I am trying to find out where a couple are buried who resided in Holyhead.
They are Christopher Irvine (watchmaker) who died in 1907 aged 50 and his
wife Mary Ann who died in 1906 aged about 49.
In 1901 they were living at 20 Wian street.
Christopher was born in Ireland but they were married in Llanrwst Parish
Church so they were not catholic.
Their only son Robert Hinton Irvine died in WW1 in 1918 and is remembered on
the Holyhead Town war memorial (so I was told).
I am planning a visit to Holyhead soon so I need to find this information
first.
Holyhead Town Hall charge £20 for a search of the burial registers so I
thought I would ask this List first.
Regards
Peter
