Sorry not to be able to help with this query but I too am looking for a John
Jones who was living at Glanrafon bach, Llanbeblig as a cowman for Griffith
and Elizabeth Parry on th 1891 census. He was born c 1833 in Llangernyw,
Denbighshire and I have had 'fun' tracing his movements (through the
censuses and an agricultural memorandum book that he kept covering the
period 1856-1862) from Llangernyw to Atcham to Rednal, West Felton, to
Llanegryn near Dolgellau and then to Llanbeblig.
I would love to know where he ended his days - he was aged 58 on the
1891 census.
If anyone has any connections with him or the Parry family or Glanrafon bach
I would be very pleased to hear from them.
Thanks very much,
Judith
