I think he would be tha ancestor of the Meyrick family of Bodorgan who were
quite an important family in Anglesey. I would suggest searching for his
descendants in Willperf (but bearing in mind the health warning about the
flaws in JE Griffiths pedigrees), using the surname Meyrick, and you should
find him.

Hi Listers, I'm new to the list and fairly new to my Welsh ancestry.
I pick up Meuric ap Llywellyn (hope I spelled that right) in the late
1400s. I have names of his ancestors but since they are not "royalty"
I have not been able to find information on them. Can anyone
recommend books where I can find these people? I have not had any
luck getting books on the Welsh - even through my library. If anyone
needs more names, I can furnish them.
