No the chapel was not rebuilt and it was closed many many years ago. There
is only one C M or Presbyterian chapel as they are now known, in Bangor and
that is a new building, the church is known as Beulah Newydd. All documents
connected with the old Tabernacl chapel would or should have been
transferred to the Presbyterian chapels's archives at the NLW at
Aberystwyth. So unfortunately no current minister for you although Berea
Newydd has a minister
hope this helps

Subject: Re: [GWYNEDD] Tabernacl Chapel, Bangor
Hello,
First many thanks to the listers who kindly helped with my questions
regarding Gorse Hill.
I know that the Tabernacl Chapel in Bangor was ion Dean Street per 1900
and
a new Chapel was built in the early 1900's in Garth Road but it now
appears to
have been converted into residential flats.
I wonder if anyone knows if the Tabernacl Chapel has been re-built
elsewhere
in Bangor.I am trying to get a name and address for the current minister
or
anyone connected with the Chapel.
Many thanks
Keith
