The boundary between Gyffin and Llangelynin runs through the there.
What was the name of the house?

Hi Keith
I think Gorse Hill is in the Parish of Gyffin. In welsh I
think the name is Allt yr Eithin. This welsh translation may
be wrong, so if there is anyone out there that can comfirm it
please do.
All the best
Haydn

Hello,
Just about a mile outside Conway on the Trefriw Road is Gorse
Hill Caravan Park.
I understand the house built on the site was constructed about 1899.
Would anyone know what Parish Gorse Hill was in in 1901 or
1911 so I can try
and trace the house on the census.
I presume Gorse Hill was named after its location and again I
wonder if
anyone would know the original Welsh name for Gorse Hill.
Many thanks
Keith
