Some Llangwnnadl entries will be in Aberdaron PRs. From 1750 - and earlier - onwards,
"Independents" (ie chapel-goers) were on the rise with a big resurgence in the
1810s. You didn't mention the dates but this has a big impact on where you will find
entries. One clue (not infallible) is whether marriage bonds exist for the family - these
were one possible marker. Also some clues may sometimes exist in the language used in
wills - but these are not infallible.
If your family are from Llangwnnadl and environs, check WO ROBERTS papers in Bangor
archives, once you have all your info up to date. He can be very useful for unknown
connections 1800-1950.
Yours,
Ian

Hi Tom
According to the Parish Registers of Wales the Llangwnadl parish registers
are held at the Caernarfon archives and the BT's at the NLW. Gwynedd FHS
have indexed the marriages for the area of Western Caernarfonshire which is
in book form and on fiche, also the Llangwnadl St Gwynhoedl church and Capel
Hebron (c) MI's - both available from the society and to be seen at the GFHS
centre.
Regards
Angharad

Thank you Angharad,
I will try to find a list of GFHS publications, or maybe join the Society,
until I can organise a trip to Caernarfon.
Regards, Tom.
