I would suggest to all member of these lists and their correspondents that membership of
the relevant Family History Society - usually Gwynedd Family History Society - might add
to their experience of family history research (not to mention, for those interested in
the numerous papurau bro which exist but which are for Welsh readers or learners only
really).
The general advice/experience included in the twice-yearly magazine is well worth the
subscription: I have found, in some years of membership, that cousins have been mentioned
more than once, and that general advice and experience is well followed.
If no one has read Rowlands Welsh Family History Research vol 1&2 and Major Francis
Jones "Y Cymmrodor" article from the 1950s, I would well recommend them.
Let's remember first principles as many posts have been ill-informed, not referring to
the most recent one in particular.
