Hi
I have looked through the MI's and didn't find anything. No the
transcription isn't out of print - all were sold out on the Eisteddfod
stand. But there is a burial Jan 30 1798 of David Zacheus Bala in the PR
record by the Clwyd FHS. Best thing to do is to look up the Llanfor parish
records at Dolgellau archives (also microfiche at Ruthin I believe) that
will show

Subject: [GWYNEDD] Looking for Dafydd ZACCHEUS in Llanfor
Dear Listers
Does anyone out there have a copy of Monument Inscriptions for Llanfor
churchyard. The church is near where the National Eisteddfod has just been
in Bala. Llanfor’s transcription was not on Gwynedd Family History Society’s
stand at the eisteddfod. Don’t know if this means it is out of print. I
could not spare the time to visit the churchyard itself.
I have it from a reliable source that Dafydd ZACCHEUS and his wife Gwen
lived in Llanfor. I’m wondering if they have been buried in the local
churchyard. Dafydd and Gwen had a daughter born in 1773 so I’m guessing
dates 1750 – 1800.
Thanks Idris
