I had the results of my Ancestry DNA test this morning.
Annoyingly they seem to class Welsh as Irish! I am half Welsh but according
to Ancestry I am 64% Irish.
I would have thought they could find a better description for what probably
also includes Gaelic Scotland. I can imagine someone getting their results
in the USA and wasting a lot of time looking for an Irish connection.

I took the DNA test several years ago before the current system that
Ancestry has in place.
The test itself was of little use, however, a book was recommended
reading which was very helpful.
It is "The Seven Daughters of Eve" - worth reading the section in the
book about DNA testing done years ago in Wales!
