Dear Elizabeth,
I suppose unless your cousin tells you that there is some family story, I should ask if
you have anything more concrete connecting your William to Botwnnog?
Where were the pieces of information you enclosed from and how certain is it that it is
"your" William? The one containing the "batch no." must be the LDS??
It is very difficult to know how to help without knowing a bit more of your certainties
and uncertainties! For example, did any of the census records specifically mention
Botwnnog?
Yours,
Ian

A cousin who I just contacted says our mutual ancestor was this man, I
don't know if he has any information from the family, his ancestor was
the eldest son of the family and might have passed on information my
ancestor didn't have. I don't know if I can get any help from the list
<G> unless some miracle happens <G>. He married in the US in 1851,
can't be found on any passenger list (just because we have no-one or
thing to anchor him to) or in the 1850 census, I think I have this man
from 1841. So I guess I am looking for someone connected to the family
who is missing a William <G>
