My great great great grandparents Robert Hughes and Mary (Evans) lived at Gelli Isa,
Rhyducha near Bala Parish of Llanycil.
His dates were 1765-1845. He is buried in Llanycil churchyard
Her dates were 1790-1863. She is buried in Cefnddwysarn chapel cemetery
They had 10 children. Any information on the children (apart from the ones I know of)
would be marvellous. They were

4) Hanna 1815 (She married a William Barns who kept a pub in Wrexham. Her mother died
there)
5) Thomas 1819-98 (Lived at Giler, Pentrefoelas)

9) Evan 1826-93. My great great grandfather. Married Elizabeth Williams of Coed y Mynach
and Rhiwaedog and lived at Ty Helyg, Bryneglwys
10) Owen 1828-1909. Became Deputy Chief Constable of Merioneth. His son Ernest became the
first Professor of History at Swansea. He had a sister Bodwen who kept a shop in Bala
