Please could anyone advise me about the location of this address which is from the 1830-s
and 1840's?
I am trying to find the family of Richard Williams, an attorney / solicitor of
Caernarfon who died between 1843 and 1846. He was married, (possibly for the 2nd time), to
a Catherine Anne Griffith, (the daughter of the landlord at the Capel Curig Inn) in 1817.
They had 2 daughters, Eliza Catherine Nanney Williams and Margaret Ann Williams who died
young in 1822 and 1824, and they were buried in Llanbeblig. Their father was supposedly
buried with them in a vault at the church, but I cannot find his burial record. His wife
Catherine was also buried at Llanbeblig in 1873, and it is her Will which explains where
her husband and 2 little girls were buried as she wished to be buried with them.
At the Ddol address I have found burials for an Anne Williams,
b c 1805, bur 28.6.1837 aged 32 and Richard Williams b c 1779 buried 30.9.1844 (65), which
could indicate a former marriage, Anne being his daughter from that marriage.
Any help would be much appreciated,
