Hi Ian,
I am very interested in the Lloyds of Cwm Bychan. Is the article to be found
online anywhere?

This is indeed thought to be the case although I have not been through the
detail - there is an article in The Journal of the Merioneth Historical
and Record society, Vol VII (1975) pp 251-282 'The last Lloyd of Cwm
Bychan' by Lewis Lloyd.
It is a good place to start but, as with any record or history, should not
be read as "gospel". There are one or two moments where the narrative
does seem to get a little vague.
Hedd Wynn, the Birkenhead Eisteddfod poet was related to this family
through the family of Brynysgyboriau, Trawsfynydd.
