To listers of Clwyd, Caernarvon, Gwynedd lists
Its a year now since I started to look for living relatives of my grandmother, Jane
Elizabeth Roberts, of Llandudno. While I have not yet succeeded in this particular goal I
have come a long way and
met a lot of wonderful people through these lists and gotten an enormous amount of help.
I want to thank Mavis, Susan, Derek, Alun, Dorothy, Lorna, Dave, Llinos, Dafydd Hayes,
Yvonne, Pat, Margaret,
Kenneth and others. Because of these folks I have been able to put together a time line
of the house/smallholding called Pant-y-Ffynnon in Nant-y-Gamar area of Llandudno, where
my grandmother was
born and brought up. This time line is 3 pages long so I will not include it here (this
is long enough) but I wanted to let you know of the various names connected with this
house in case it means
something to someone. Most names herein are clearly related to Jane Roberts (therefore,
me) in some way, but not all. Below are some of these names and dates (all were found
containing the words of
Pant-y-Ffynnon"). If anyone relates to any of these names or events, I will be happy
to send the complete timeline. Because of all the help Ive received, I now have a sense
of my Welsh lineage
which I did not have before. Here we go:
