Pat,
You are probably thinking of changing keyboard layout rather than the=20
language. I am using Windows 98SE. If you are using another operating=20
system the below sequence may not be the same. Left click on Start at=20
lower corner of screen, then highlight Settings, left click on control=20
panel, left click on Keyboard, left click on Language.
Keyboard layout and characters are different in many countries.
There is a keyboard sequence beginning with ALT and then a series of=20
numbers that will make a British pound sign. Press ALT, hold it down=20
while pressing, 0163 and you should get the =A3 sign.
Hope this is what your were thinking of.
