In case you don't have it already, here is a Roscoe family living in
Portdinorwic in 1881. There are also a number of Roscoes who were on boats in
the 1881 census, which I can send you if you want them.
The archive office in Caernarfon has a special collection and a number of
publications on the relationship between Gwynedd and the sea. It may be worth
your while giving them a visit or a phone call.
