Hello Linda,
I have the set of 1881 census discs, this is where I found the entry, I do
not have any further information.
If any lister would like a look-up I will do my best.
I am also researching HUGHES families, three of them.
1/ JOHN HUGHES b1835 parents HUGH HUGHES and ANN WILLIAMS.
2/ MARY HUGHES b abt 1842 married WILLIAM JONES of Rhoscolyn.
3/ for an email friend in Oregan.
RICHARD "LLEW ARFON" HUGHES b abt 1845
he conducted the VAENOL GLEE SOCIETY CHOIR.
I would be very pleased if any lister can give me some information on any of
the above Hughes. All from the Caernarfon/Anglesea are.
regards,
Dorothy. 2739

Subject: Looking for a Jones:
Dorothy:
Read your posting in regard to Robert Jones-Quarryman and one thing that
interest me was Ellen JONES Gen Servant U 28 yrs old. I am looking for
information regarding my great-grandmother--Ellen Jones and the area fits
what I have. Only thing is, do you know if that Ellen Jones married a
Thomas
Hughes later on and lived in Anglsey, North Wales. Thomas Hughes
would
have
been a Farm Laborer. Oh how, I wish that it is the right Ellen Jones
I am
looking for! Any information would be helpful...
Regards,
Linda
