Hello listers
Is there anyone out there with access to the 1891 Census for Bangor who would be willing
to look up the CHAMBERS family. Hopefully there would be a William Arthur CHAMBERS listed
as a child and possibly his sister Mary Elizabeth CHAMBERS (known later as Maimie).
Thanks
Anne Mehew
Hello Anne
Sorry, I'm too busy at present to look up Bangor 1891 Census, but is the
following any use?
Glanadda Cemetery, Bangor:
RICHARD CHAMBERS, d.9 Feb 1920, aged 54 and his wife ELIZABETH, d.14 Apr
1943.
Their children: THOMAS, d.4 Feb 1891; FLORENCE, d. 24 Feb 189?; DORIS, d.11
Sep 1912; ARNOLD, d.15 Apr 1930.
A USEFUL TIP for anyone looking up the 1891 Census; look at Slater's
Directory 1895 - much more detailed than most trade directories - lots of
names and addresses, listed by street - copies at Caernarfon Archives and
University Library, Bangor.
Good luck,
David Price, Bangor
