Hi Beryl,
I know a Beryl Hughes from Briton Ferry, but do not think that she is computer literate as
she is, I believe into her nineties, having said that she is pretty smart and active, but
I assume you are not her.
I have an index of all the burials in the Parish Church of St. Mary, Briton Ferry which I
believe includes Giants Grave Cemetery burials as St. Johns was a sister church of St.
Mary's. I also have the monumental inscriptions for St.Mary's but it does not
cover St.John's. I have a great grandfather and other relatives buried at Giant's
Grave so I tracked them down some how without visiting there, I will have a look through
my records to see if they can shed any light.
I also traced another grandfather buried in Ynysmaerdy, the municipal cemetery in Briton
Ferry, and found that the Borough Council were most helpful, though they probably do not
have any records for Giants Grave.
If you can let me know who you are looking for I will see what I can find out.
Regards,
Mike Roberts
