Hello Jane.
I can't help regarding records of the Bromfield coal mine, but I can tell
you that Bromfield Hall was demolished in 1965.
Regards Kyffin

I am contacting this list in the hope that someone may be able to
help me
with some local knowledge of Mold.
An ancestor of mine tragically died during a swimming accident in the fish
pond that adjoined Bromfield Hall in Mold on the evening of 13 July 1863.
Can anyone tell me if Bromfield Hall is still in existence and if so, as
what?
Is the pond still there?
Does anyone know where I might find the records for the Bromfield coal and
canal company (especially staff records etc.)? -My ancestor was working
for
this company as a clerk when he died. He had moved from Ashton upon
Mersey -
where he had buried his wife - just a year before.
Hope someone can help
Jane
