Subject: [FLN] Roger Bellis Edwards O.B.E of Mold
Roger Bellis Edwards was born in Holywell in June 1885 son of David
Edwards
and Emily Bellis who married in Holywell in June 1884.On the 1st of
January
1920, Roger Bellis Edwards was awarded "The Order Of The British Empire"
for
his work as Medical Officer at the "Leeswood Hall " Auxiliary Hospital at
Mold
in Flintshire, I would like to hear from anyone researching this family or
indeed anyone that can give me any information on the Hospital which I
believe
was set up to receive wounded servicemen brought back from Europe.
Many thanks Trevor
