Following the information you sent me on the parents, I have found Nathaniel Holman &
his family back 2 generations, and there is quite a number of Joseph Jennings in that time
period (which I already knew, as for a long time I had tried naming patterns) however
finding one of them married to a Catherine Jones is a challenge. Johanna Northway
married to Nathaniel is going the same way. I am pursuing the possibilty that Jones may
be Johns, and Northway may be Northy/Northey in Cornwall. Failing that maybe Joseph &
Nathaniel married a Welsh girls called Jones & Northway. All challenges to keep me
out of mischief.
I have only been doing the family history since I retired five years ago, and it is
amazing how little I know, but I am finding it very interesting and challenging. It
seems to me that some families leave easy to follow trails behind them and others seem to
be like aliens visit here there and anywhere and leave very little to go by, either that
or made no significant impact whilst they where here.
Bye for now and thank you once again for your help

Yes, they married at Halkyn on 26 Feb 1825. He was described as son of
Joseph [a lead miner] and Catherine [nee Jones] and his bride Catherine as
the daughter of Nathaniel Holman [lead miner] and Johannah [nee Northway].
At the baptism of the first of the two children Jonathan is described as a
lead miner, and secondly as an engineer.
Some years ago I did much research on the lead-mining industry in Halkyn and
can tell you that a large number of Cornishmen arrived at Halkyn in the
early 1820s having been invited by the mineowners to reorganise the whole of
the operations there. There is no further evidence of this family in the
district.
Hope this helps,
Bryn Ellis
