I've checked the 1881 British Census, only 2 BEBERTON's are listed, both
living in Cambridgeshire. I am almost certain the information you gave me
was my G G Grandfather and that the name has been transcribed incorrectly.
Many thanks for your help.

Gwyn Morris

Hi,
It doesn't look as if your James and Ann were baptised in Worthenbury.
The nearest is
1807 BEBERTON James son of Joseph and Mary.
PR for Worthenbury with thanks to the CLWYD family history soc.
all the best
Catherine

James Bebbington (born 1804) and Ann Rogerson (born 1801). They were
living
in Worthenbury in 1844, but I believe Ann came from Maybury in
Cheshire.
Any information on the families would be very much appreciated.
