Dear Tim, Thanks for your e-mail, I realy wouldn,t like to say yes or no to
a connection at the moment i have only just began looking into the Jones
family,Gwilym Jones,s wife was living in Rhes-y-Cae before she married and
her name was Griffiths, But Gwilym and his son Cyril Jones were born in
Halkyn but i,m not sure where Gwilyms father Richard was born as yet All i
know is that this branch of the Jones family still live in the Hollywell
area of Flintshire. I will keep your e-mail on file and if i do come across
a conection i will let you know straight away, Thanks again for you reply,
With Regards From Dawn, In sunny Hot Essex, England (at last).

Hi Dawn,
This is a really long shot, but I couldn't resist the Rhes-y-cae
connection!!
My ancestor John Bancroft married Elinor Jones abt. 1820. (I haven't
found where).
Elinor was born 1797 in Rhes-y-cae, daughter of William Jones, a lead
miner and Elizabeth Humphreys. The latter pair were married at Nannerch
3rd. May 1788.
John and Elinor's first son was born at Rhes-y-cae 1821
There were probably a lot of Jones around Rhes-y-cae, but if you or
anyone else can make a connection, I would love to hear of it!
Regards,
Tim, in hot and humid Ontario, Canada.
