Hi everyone,
I am desperately trying to locate more information for my brother in Law's father,
Llewellyn Williams now aged 82 and very poorly. Llewellyn's dad died aged 37 in 1921
at 177 Station Rd Bamber Bridge three weeks before Llewellyn was born. I have the death
certificate.
Llewellyn's dad was Abram (Abraham) Williams and is supposed to have been born in
Mostyn but there is no record of him there and the 1891 census does not record him either
(checked by Mollie and Mavis CLWYD List) . His wife Ester Hannah (Liverpool origins)
brought up the family on her own in Bamber Bridge, Walton Le Dale and died in Chorley aged
80. The family now live in Kent.
Other children were Est(h)er, Ronald Albert (both died young), Abraham(known as Arthur),
May(went to Canada with husband Alan Lott?) David, Elizabeth(Betty), Ada and finally
Llewellyn (second name Culton?) The latter two were boarded after Abram's death at the
Harris Orphanage, Preston?
I just wondered whether anyone had come across the family in Flintshire or could advise me
how I might track down Abram's birthplace if it wasn't Mostyn. In other words in
what documentation might his birthplace be mentioned? I know he served in WW1 but there is
no known Service number.
Any comments at all - most welcome(urgently).

Have you looked at St Cath's Index of births for 1883/4 for the name in any
relevant areas ?
Just a thought
