Hi Ellen, Nola and list,
The Wrexham area is the one big pocket of the 1891 census still
waiting for transcription volunteers. At the present rate I don't see
it reaching the FreeCEN database for 12 - 18 months. Is there a street
directory? If you could narrow down the search area by finding where
Smithfield Street was I might be able to chase it up but there are
several Wrexham pieces, all with several districts and 3 - 4 fiche per
piece. If I search from beginning to end on each one then it'll throw
my schedule completely out of whack for the foreseeable future. Sorry
this isn't better news. Feel free to get back to me.
Hwyl, Natalia.

Subject: [FLN] 1891 Census
Hello List,
I am a new subscriber to the list and wondered if anyone with the 1891
Census for Wrexham Regis, Denbigh could do a lookup for me.
The family lived at 5 Smithfield Road (Late Theatre Lane), Wrexham
Regis, Denbigh.
The head on the census was
William Williams age 49 married born Vale of Clwyd, Denbigh
Sarrah Williams age 46 born Holywell, Flint
Thomas Williams age 19 Rumford, Leicester
Mary Williams age 12 Brymbo, Denbigh
Sarrah Williams age 8 Silverdale, Stafford
Jane Williams age 7 Silverdale, Stafford
Sibby or Libby age 3m Wrexham
I know that this is a difficult name to find so any help would
appreciated.
Sarrah's maiden name was Jones and she was born Holywell, Flint, Wales
any help with her family on the census would be helpful.
Regards
Ellen
