Dear Tamea
I've been offline for a while and I'm curious to know whether you had a
response to your question?
I searched for Eskwide but to no avail. Is it likely that the word was
wrongly transcribed or that it was an attempt to spell a welsh word, for
example Ysceifiog, pronounced "Us/skive/ee/og?
Best wishes
Howell

Subject: [FLN] Eskwide
I have just discovered that an ancestor was born in the Parish of
Eskwide, in the Township of Eskwide, in the County of Flint.
This is great - but where is it. He was born about 1785, but I can't
find a mention of the place at all. And nothing on the IGI.
