Dear Natalia,
The Old or John Wynne Chapel in Newmarket, Flintshire, was founded in 1705
and was originally a Presbyterian Church. The FHL Film which I viewed
started in 1796 and went up to the time of civil registration, with my last
PARRY related entry on May 18, 1837.
Thomas JONES, who was the minister for all of this period of time, was
ordained in 1793 after two years of probation in this parish from 1791 to
1793. He was still minister at the end of the data which was filmed. This
information was copied on the film.
I have not yet started to transcribe these records onto the list, as I am
still doing the records from the Parish Church of St. James in Holywell.
I had copied the POOL information for "cousin" Tommy PARRY, who has Welsh
POOL(E)s in his line, so that is all the interest I personally had in the
information. If Tommy wants any more information on Newmarket, he will
contact you directly, as he is copied on this note.
Kindest regards,
Anne Clark-Stewart

Chapel
Hi Anne, your message interested me greatly - do you remember offhand when the
dates for the chapel
began? I have a DYSON family from Newmarket in the early 1700's. John Wynne
brought men in from
England, including William DYSON. There is a film of a selection of Newmarket
notes, MI's etc - have
you seen it? Let me know if you want the number and I'll check back and find
it. Regards, Natalia.

Dear Tommy PARRY and other PARRY/POOL(E) researchers,
While reviewing the FHL film #0815980 of non-conformist Churches and Chapels
in the Flintshire area, I uncovered the following POOL(E) entries:
