Hi Brenda,
I am very interested in your John Parish born in Bagillt around 1850. From the 1881
census I have found my great grandfather in Hawarden and although he was born in Flint
around 1862 his brother Joseph was born in 1850 in Bagillt and his mother Elizabeth
(maiden name unknown as yet) was too in 1827. There is no father on the list as he
wasn't at home Elizabeth was listed as married, head, coal miners wife. From my
grandfathers marriage certificate I have just discovered that his father was called
Abraham. I am presuming he was at work that night.
I am afraid I haven't gone far enough to prove a connection; as I have only just got
this far. I will keep your information and if I find a connection with your John I will
be back in touch.

Subject: [FLN] Parish family, Baguilt, Circa 1850
Has anyone please any interest in Parish (John Parish) family. John was
born in Baguilt in 1850. I have information of his family at Tredegar,
Monmouthshire around 1874. He married into the Davis/ Davies family who
were tailors from Wiltshire.
