Hi,
There is a Robert IBALL playing cello with the NZ Symphony Orchestra -
lives in Wellington, NZ. As far as I know he's a Kiwi, went to
Freyberg High School in Palmerston North, NZ. He's friend of a friend.
Somebody's Iball's obviously came out this way.
Hwyl, Natalia.
Have you ever thought of the benefit of the U.K. census data being
centrally available on one database, and being able to trace your
ancestors from 1841 to 1891? The Free Census Project aims to provide a
"free-to-view" online searchable database of the 19th century UK
census returns. For more information check out

This is an extract from my article on the 1881 census for Buckley
published
in the last edition of the Buckley Magazine
"The name Iball has claim to be the most distinctive Buckley name in
that
every one of the 71 people with the Iball name in the whole of
England,
Wales and Scotland lived in Buckley! For information on the Iball
name see
the letter by the Rev Canon C.H. Iball in Buckley Magazine No. 18
(1994).
Canon Iball recalls from family oral history that the first Iball who
came
to Buckley in the 16th Century was an Englishman who had served in
the
French Army. He notes that all the Iballs that he had met or
corresponded
with came from Buckley."

Hi there
I've changed my email address and am taking this opportunity to
repost my
interests
IBALL - Buckley / Bistre / Mold / Hawarden
Iball is an unusual name and it seems that all are related - however
distantly!
If anyone comes across any reference I'd be grateful if they'd
forward it /
let me know
Thanks
Regards
