The place you are looking for is Pontblyddyn, where the 'Tai Bowen' houses
were.
I've sent 1851 off-list, but the area is one of the missing ones on 1861, so
I hope that will help, but I would assume that if they were still there in
1871, then that would apply to 1861.
I think Margaret was working as a servant elsewhere in 1861, so if you want
that I can send it.
It may be worth looking at the following site for baptisms, although the
ones I looked at didn't fit.
All the best
John

Subject: [FLN] FOULKES Northop / Mold (record/census look up please)
This is the family I am hoping SKS can trace in censuses prior to
1871:
(in 1871 Samuel and Mary are living at Tai Bowen, Mold, Flint - the
address their daughter also gave when she married in 1863)
SAMUEL FOULKES born about 1808 Northop, Flintshire
MARY FOULKES born about 1808 Bryn y bal, mold
MARGARET FOULKES born about 1841 Mold
Also Samuel's parents: (sorry - no more info than this)
ROBERT FOULKES
CATHERINE FOULKES
If there is SKS with some time when next at the records office to see if
there is any sign of any of these events:
SAMUEL FOULKES married MARY EVANS April 1830 Holywell
SAMUEL FOULKES baptism (born July 1808 Northop) - parents Robert and
Catherine
ROBERT FOULKES marriage to CATHERINE ROBERTS - pre 1808 given Samuel's
birth
SAMUEL FOULKES marriage to MARY EVANS - I think April 1830 Holywell
MARY EVANS baptism - I think May 1808 Argoed Flintshire
Many many thanks
Amanda
