I am really stuck with a means to find any information on
STOCKYNG HALL Flintshire.
The house was lived in circa 1850 -1900 by a family said to have
owned it for some generations.
I do not have a family name .
The spelling may be any variation on the above.
I would welcome any ideas on where /how to search or if any one
knows the House that would be wonderful.
Any help or ideas will be really appreciated.
Kind regards,
Sue in LLantrisant.

To locate on the 1:25,000 Ordnance Survey map sections go to
http://www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/oswebsite/getamap/
Click on the blue rectangular panel on the bottom right to proceed.
Type in the grid reference above on the search page.
You will be presented with either a section of the Ordnance Survey
1:25,000 or 1:50,000 maps.
You can zoom in or out as you wish and also view adjacent sections
via the panel on the left.
Alternatively use StreetMap at

Select 'Landranger grid' and enter grid reference. Zoom out from the
street-map format by clicking midway between the [+] and [-] buttons
at the bottom right to get a 3 km x 3 km section of the local
Ordnance Survey 1:50,000 Landranger map.
