Hi nerys,
I have had a look through the Cwm birth, marriage and death record (Courtesy
of CFHS) these are transcribed up until 1812, from1727.
I found no baptisms or deaths but have found two marriages;
1833 Nov 17 Wiilliam Brookes Dyserth bachelor by banns
Mary Bloor otp (Cwm) spinster
witnesses Daniel (or David) Brookes and Elizabth Bloor
1836 Jan 14 William Vaughan otp Bachelor
Elizabeth Bloor otp by licence
witnesses William Bloor and Elizabeth Cunnah
I found no Bloors in the Dyserth parish registers or in the Dyserth memorial
inscription.
Cwm is a lovely rural village, I married a Cwm Boy !
I shall keep looking for you.

Subject: [FLN] Cwm
Hello list,
I have joined in the hope of finding out a little about my ancestor's
homeland, Cwm.
The family name is BLOOR. Joseph Bloor b1785 c was supposedly born in Cwm
where he became a farmer of about 240 acres plus. We know his father was a
Thomas Bloor but he is not of the Cwm parish so I am having a job finding
where
he came from. The address on the census returns is just Pentre Cwm. Would
this
just have been a small village in the 1850's-60's? Is there a Church and
Cemetery in Cwm today?
I have all relevant census returns, it would be nice to hear a little
about
what sort of place Cwm is.
Many thanks
Regards
Nerys
