Dear Susan and other listers looking for HOOSON ancestors,
As I have been reviewing films of parish records for the Holywell area
for the past two months, I have noted a few uncommon names about which
people were seeking more information. As I was searching for my PARRY
and JONES ancestors, I copied the few entries I found for HOOSON and
variants:
The following all come from FHL film #0104789, Bishop's Transcripts for
Holywell Parish Church, Diocese of At. Asaph, Church of Wales, Bishop's
Transcripts from 1818-1848:

There are a few references to HOOSON on the Whitford Parish Church FHL
film # 0104826. Once I have them all found, I will copy them out for
you.
I no longer have the non-confromist film for the Holywell area, FHL film
# 0815980, but I do not have any references documented for you. This
most probably means that htere were no references on that film, as I had
been looking for your HOOSON's fromt he beginning of my search.
I hope that some of these are in your line and that this may help with
one or two of your mysteries.
Kindest regards,
Anne Clark-Stewart
