What does it say on the Mariage cert as to her father ?
There are no george Cartwrights in This area from Outside the area London
is the nearest .
Any thing else ??

The only info known is that her father was apparently called George, but

is not confirmed and he would have com from the Midlands area
originally.

mother's name is not on the marriage cert.
My great-grandfather (Arthur Wakelam) met Emma (Emily, EM or
whatever??!!!)
whilst on holiday in North Wales.
As she wsa apparently aged 24 at the time of their marriage, I was
therefore
very curious about the info that was sent to me about Emma Elizabeth
born
in
1879.
Emma married my great-grandfather in 1903 in Birmingham.
her name on the cmarriage cert is Emma Elizabeth.
This is the whole problem - lack of concrete information.
