Subject: [FLN] Geography lesson needed

Okay, I am thoroughly confused, and not familiar with the geography of
Flintshire. In some records, I find folks recorded as being in Cheshire,
Flintshire. Some records say Great Boughton, some say Hawarden, some just
say Boughton.
Are they all different locations, or all the same?
The family I am tracing is as follows: Mary Davies was born about 1841 in
Flintshire. The BDM records have several Mary Davies in Great Boughton
district
any of which who could be her. I would think she'd be born in Hawarden, the
same as her older sister.
Her sister, Elizabeth Davies was born about 1828 in Hawarden, Flintshire.
I
know that from later census records. Both have a father named Edward. The
IGI
shows some Edward Davies marriages to 7 different possibile wifes all in
Hawarden.
Someone kindly sent me an 1841 census in Broughton showing an Edward, with
wife Jane, and several children (there's an Elizabeth there- 10 years old.
If
that's the right family, Mary may not have been born in time for that
census)
Can someone give me a geography lesson and help me narrow down my choices?
does anyone have the 1851 census which might show the sisters with afather
named Edward?
Thanks to anyone whocan set me straight!
Dawn
